WIP Update: Dollie Expecting February 2020

The beginning of this year is passing by so quickly! It’s crazy, it seemed like Christmas wasn’t that long ago and we are already in the swing of another holiday season…Valentine’s Day! The season of love is bringing quite a few new dolls to my collection and I couldn’t be more excited. Let’s talk about it.

Reborn Dolls

Originally, I had absolutely no plans in adding new reborn dolls to my doll collection this year. Boy, did that change up quickly! I am expecting not one, but two beautiful baby girls between now and the end of March!

This week, I am expecting the arrival of my cutie pie, Teegan by Ping Lau; reborn by artist Mary Kate Bashline-McCormack of Hill Country Reborns. (IG @marykateandstephlovedolls) I have been anticipating her arrival since September 2019, so I am very excited to welcome her to the dollie nursery. I will be posting more about her soon, once she is home.

Next, I am expecting the beautiful LouLou by Joanna Kazmierczak, painted by artist Lauren Speech-Green of Pura Vida Babies (IG @dolly.related). I am not expecting this girlie for another 6-8 weeks, but it is so nice to see her first paint layers and imagine what she will come out to look like. The artist is really excited about bringing her to life and has convinced me to try a darker skin tone. This baby was originally going to be my Caucasian doll, but my mind changes all the time! So, her final look will probably be a surprise. πŸ™‚ I can’t wait to visit Lauren in Texas and have my in person reborn baby adoption! πŸ˜›

Ball Jointed Dolls

The final doll that I am expecting in late March or early April, is my one-of-a-kind LUTS MyChoice Model Delf Lio in Strawberry Pink resin. This is one unicorn of a doll, as she is a hybrid between two different proportioned LUTS sculpts for the head and body. She will be a bit taller than Yoko, but still wear the same sized clothing. What’s special about this girl (aside from her unique resin color); she’s a cat girl! The photo below is not a real photo of her, but a photoshopped version to give me an idea of what she will look like.

The Kid Delf Lio sculpt is originally a male-faced cat doll, with Corni and Curly being the female version. I’m excited to make mine a girl and see how she comes out! Currently, this girl is on payment plan with the U.S. dealer, Once her order is in, I’ll promptly pay the balance so she can get shipped home quicker.

Well, that is all for my Dollie updates as of now! I can’t wait to share more as the months pass by πŸ™‚
