Should I purchase my own doll kit to save money?
Honestly, the answer is NO. You will not save any money by purchasing your own doll kit as opposed to the artist doing all the leg work. Once you purchase a kit and pay for shipping, you will have to pay for shipping again to mail it to your artist. It is wise to simply pay your deposit fee and let your artist do all the work!
In the only case you should purchase your own doll kit, is if the kit is pre-order and limited edition. These doll sculpts are special and often produced in as little as 200 kits to be distributed worldwide! In this event, purchase the kit and find a reborn artist to bring it to life later.
