Nintendo Switch Games

Super Crush K.O ($14.99 USD) // Since I have been fully committed to this game for the 30-day Gaming Challenge, this has been my uncontested favorite this month. This indie game by Vertex Pop released January 2020 and I wasted no time to buy it. However, I am just now getting around to playing it! I won’t say much here as there will be a review coming soon..but just know there are killer robots involved and your cat needs saving.

Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town ($49.99 USD) // Despite my 30-day Gaming Challenge I couldn’t resist playing other games. One that caught my attention was a new, and much talked about release, of Story of Seasons: Pioneer Town. I had tried two other farm simulation games and wasn’t 100% happy with them so I went out on a limb with this one. After trading in my hard copy of Hollow Knight at GameStop, I purchased this one! There will be a review of it at some point, but lets just say I am very happy with how it’s going so far.

Nintendo Switch Accessories

At this point I am 100% obsessed with acquiring new and super cute accessories for my game system. I have added on to my Geekshare collection with a new skin and thumb grips. I also took the plunge and ordered my first pair of custom made joy con controllers! I purchased mine from Gal at Game Trader Zero on Etsy. There were many shops to choose from for custom joy cons but I ultimately felt good about a purchase here because the reviews were great, the price was most affordable AND the shop owner was based in my home state! I didn’t have to wait long for these babies to reach me and the customization process took about 5-7 days. You can find Game Trader Zero on Facebook, Instagram, and Etsy. I’m awaiting another pair of controllers from this shop as well; can’t wait!

Custom clear purple + lavender joy con set

After discovering a discount code on their Instagram, I also ordered a pair of joy cons from CBCustomsandrepair. This monochrome lavender and purple set is super cute with my new Ice Cream themed silicone case! I ordered these on March 23rd and received them in the mail March 31, so the wait time wasn’t too bad.

Nintendo Switch Content Creators

Nintendo Life // One channel that I have been enjoying a lot every time I look for game reviews and game play is Nintendo Life. Three content creators: Alex, Zion and Jon contribute to the reviews. So far, I have enjoyed every game I purchased that was given a good review on their channel. Content here is uploaded daily.

Chase Crossing // How could I forget to share this content creator? I have been watching this channel off and on to get inspiration for Erika Isle, my island in Animal Crossing New Horizons. On this channel, the content creator visits other players’ islands for tours and gives a brief interview with them to see what inspired them and how they achieved their looks. It really is a fun channel to binge watch. I wish I was as creative as some of these people when it comes to island design!
