My New Favorite Doll Travel Bag + Giveaway

I am currently hosting a giveaway for the two travel tote bags featured in this post! Please visit my YouTube Channel, DollieLovex3 and/or my Instagram @dollielovex3 for a chance to win either of these bags! They are adorable and work great for reborn dolls.

If you follow me on Instagram @dollielovex3 you know that I have been obsessed with the most convenient (and cute) way to travel and enjoy your reborn dolls while on-the-go. Last month, I decided to purchase a Tadpoles Organic Palm Leaf Moses basket (Walmart $34.99 USD). At the time, I thought this would be a cute way to take my doll with me places and have safe keeping in the car. Well, sadly I was wrong. The basket arrived and I was surprised at how HUGE it was. It’s quite long and not exactly carrying friendly like I had hoped. This basket would be a great replacement for a traditional bassinet for a doll nursery. In the future, I’d like to get a bassinet stand for it.

Despite my Moses basket being a wonderful photography prop that I’ve come to use often in my photos…I was still left with the dilemma of needing something to carry my doll in. I really would like to take my dolls out with me more often; especially to work. However, keeping them in a cardboard box isn’t my style. I wanted something functional but fashionable, too. The search for the perfect doll carrying bag began!

Thanks to reborn collector @bundlesofjoy83 on Instagram/YouTube, I was lead to try out the Jujube branded bag, Super Be. You can find this water-resistant lightweight tote bag at for $70 USD. This brand is very popular for its stylish baby bags and collaboration prints with brands like Harry Potter, Sanrio’s Hello Kitty and Tokidoki. I purchased my Harry Potter print “Honeydukes” from their Amazon storefront for the same price. You can also find other variation prints on Amazon for around $35-36 USD. Initially, I adored this bag and I loved how the fabric gives way to what’s inside, so the bag has lots of room for baby and extra items. However, it was lacking for me. I fancied something with more outside pockets and a stiffer, reinforced fabric so the bag will hold it’s shape even without items inside. I didn’t want to have to overload it with blankets to comfortably store my doll. In steps my discovery of the Vera Bradley factory outlet locations!

I’m a sorority girl at heart and some of the undergrad Greek-girl trends that were on my college campus, I still like! One of them was Vera Bradley tote bags. A lot of my classmates and sorority sisters used them as book bags for school supplies. At the time I didn’t know the destination between the outlet store and shopping online but only recently found that out. In-store you can find affordable prices and a set line of seasonal prints. $45 USD for a large travel tote is a lot easier to shell out than $129 USD! The outlet stores are also partnered with Afterpay. You can split any minimum purchase of $35 into 4-easy payments (due every two weeks). Its the perfect shopping experience! Now I live in an area that has a Vera Bradley outlet store (and I’ve been visiting there way too much).

I’ve uploaded this video going over details of the bags and showing you all how much space there is to work with. Feel free to watch it and stay tuned to the end for your chance to enter and win one of these bags! You can also enter to win one of a different pattern on my Instagram as well πŸ™‚

Since the outlet store was having discounts between 50%-70% OFF I even purchased myself some handbags, wallets, cosmetic bags and stationary! Watch out COACH, there is a new love in town (haha).
