Being a Promoter for Pumpkin Doodle Babies: 1 Year Later

Hi doll friends 🙂

Soon, the 2022-2023 Promoter Search for Pumpkin Doodle Babies will be underway. I can’t wait to see which new team members I’ll get to meet. 🙂 I thought now would be a good time to share my experience about how my year has been as a PDB promoter and what it was like for me. If this is something you may be interested in, keep on reading!

Last year around March or April, I participated in the Pumpkin Doodle Babies promoter search contest. It wasn’t exactly a contest, but mores an application process. I applied via Google form and answered basic questions like:

  • What social media platforms do you use?
  • How many followers do you have?
  • How active are you on social media/posts a week?
  • Share the web address to your largest social media platform
  • What makes you a good fit to be a PDB promoter?

I honestly didn’t think I’d hear back with an invitation. I know there are several well-known content creators in the reborn doll community who have a larger following than me. So, I was really excited to be a part of this new marketing endeavor. Kory was very kind and down-to-earth when it came to the specifics of what she was looking for. She allowed me to just have fun and make content as I see fit. I decided to make YouTube changing videos, Instagram posts and Facebook posts. I also re-shared content posted by the PDB Facebook account.

Overall, it was a fun experience and it’s always nice to be awarded for my efforts with my favorite thing in the world…dolls! Upon accepting this position, I received a custom reborn doll of my choosing to better assist me with promoting the brand. With the usage of my discount code, at 10 sales I will have earned an additional free custom reborn doll. I can’t wait to welcome in my new babies! I’ve already started thinking about sculpts Id like to have and names for them.

This journey has really turned it around for me in terms of content creation and the doll hobby in general. My morale and interest in it was truly dwindling with the constant drama I see online. I am glad I have not lost my passion for this beautifully unique hobby and I look forward to seeing where it takes me in the near future.
