Bibs & Babies: What I Do For Work

I am so glad to have made it to the end of another busy work week! I refrain from talking about my life outside of dolls here, as you can catch most of it on my diary Today Tamara Forever. Today though, I wanted to share a little bit of what I do for work with you all..since it’s super relevant!

If you’re new to my YouTube Channel, DollieLovex3, you may not have followed along with my journey. When I started my doll channel in 2015, I was a Senior in college. I majored in Graphic Design. Upon graduation, it took me a little while to find a stable job. I bounced between working fashion retail and Graphic Design work in the direct mail marketing industry. It is only until July 2018 that I found the job I am currently doing now, in textiles for infant and baby feeding essentials! Now, what does this mean? Basically, I design baby bibs, bath items, and aid in the creation of new products. It can be a lot of work at times, but it is really fun. πŸ˜›

This week in particular was a first for me at the company. I participated in our product photoshoot. It was a nice change of scenery from my office space as we worked with the photographer, parents and cute babies to take photos for our products. I’ve done similar work before when working with a parenting magazine, but not to this scale. We had over 25 babies, toddlers and children to work with ❗ Needless to say, it was a lot of work. Other than setting up display pieces and organizing goodie bags for the kids/parents, I was in charge of check-in so the schedule ran smoothly. I collected Model Release forms, chatted with the parents so they were informed about everything, and generally keeping track of time so our appointments were all met. The studio was so beautiful. I honestly wish I could change my guest house space into something like this for myself! Who knows what the future will hold. πŸ˜‰ Overall, the photoshoot went well. Here’s some photos of the studio, before our little models arrived.
