In the last few months of 2020, the aisle of toys has been calling my name! I discovered so many fun and new-to-me doll lines that it made my head spin!
- Na! Na! Na! Surprise dolls
- L.O.L. OMG Fashion dolls
- Rainbow High Fashion dolls
- Barbie Exxtra & Fashionista
It was fun buying and trying out these dolls, but honestly it’s time for me to dial it back! I have to choose my favorite line to stick to and abandon the rest. Ultimately, I decided to continue collecting MGA Entertainments Rainbow High fashion dolls! 🙂 They are so cute, with very detailed clothing pieces and a unique story line to go along with it. You can check out their back story and animated series on the Rainbow High YouTube Channel. So far, I have all the dolls that have been released:
Wave 1: Ruby Anderson, Poppy Rowan, Sunny Madison, Jade Hunter, Skylar Bradshaw, and Violet Willow
RH Doll Sets: Amaya Raine Hair Studio and Avery Styles Fashion Studio
Rainbow High Cheer dolls (Cheerleader versions of Wave 1)
Wave 2: Bella Parker, Stella Monroe, River Kendall, Karma Nicholls, Amaya Raine, Krystal Bailey and (Limited Edition) Kia Hart
Rainbow High dolls are based on the story and daily dramas of six high school students at an elite art academy. Each character has their own style and academic focus that makes them stand out from the rest. Different majors range from music to graphic design and computer animation! I’m completely hooked. You can visit my Doll Collection page to see what dolls in the play line that I have as the collection grows.
I also caved and decided to purchase a couple of the larger 14″ Rainbow High Poopsie Surprise dolls as well (Amethyst Rae and Sky). They were so pretty and on a deep discount during the holidays on Amazon.
In the future, I plan on doing posts (with photos!) of all the dolls I have mentioned here. Its not to be excited about dolls that are more affordable and easily accessible. 🙂
